Vasio Little Artists is a creative drawing, story, and mini-movie app for kids roughly 3 to 7 years old. It runs in your web browser on a single device. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no social features, and no servers that hold your child's drawings. Everything your child makes stays on the device they made it on.
A "profile" is just how the app knows whose drawing is whose — there is no name to type. To add one:
The child never types a real name anywhere in the app. The generated label is just a friendly way to tell profiles apart.
The Parent Area holds everything a young child shouldn't be able to reach on their own: settings, profile deletion, the "erase all data" button, and any link that takes you out of the app to a website.
To open it, tap the parent-area button on the main screen and answer a one-off multiplication question (for example, "what is 7 × 8?"). A young child who can't yet multiply won't get past it. There's nothing to remember and nothing to set up — the question is generated fresh each time.
The microphone is off by default. When it's on, the default behaviour is "ask each time": the child only gets to use it on a screen where they've explicitly tapped the mic button.
To change this:
The app never records or stores audio. Speech-to-text is performed by the browser or operating system; on Chrome, Edge, and other Chromium browsers the audio is sent to Google for transcription, not kept on the device. If you'd rather your child not use it at all, choose Off and every screen in the app works fully by tapping.
Both options live inside the Parent Area.
To delete a profile: open the Parent Area, tap Profiles, and tap the profile you want to remove. Confirm. That profile's drawings, stars, and mini-movies are removed from the device immediately.
To erase everything: open the Parent Area, tap Erase all data, and confirm. This removes every drawing, every star, every profile, and every mini-movie on that device.
Drawings, stars, profiles, and mini-movies live only in your browser's local storage on the device they were made on. They are not uploaded anywhere. They are not backed up anywhere.
That means: clearing site data in your browser, installing a different browser, reinstalling the operating system, or wiping the device will lose that work. We cannot retrieve it — there is no copy to retrieve from.
This is a deliberate design choice. The benefit is that nothing about your child ever leaves the device. The trade-off is that the work only exists as long as the device does.
